The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. After a drizzly grey day we were finally rewarded with a wonderful sunset that only lit up the sky long enough for us to pull over and grab three sets of five shots. This is a high dynamic range image using five exposures. These are very impressive when printed on metal.
