Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A grand sunset casts a bronze colored light on the Organ mountains, East of Las Cruces, NM. The large storm cloud hovers over head and the light seems to glow from within it.
This is a five exposure high dynamic range image. I shoot HDR in order to give the viewer a better idea of what I actually saw. These are very impressive when printed on metal.
